26th June 2013 - Trial Magazine Article
I recently had the huge honor of being featured In Trials Magazine, the only dedicated Trials magazine. Very popular and available all over the world the UK version is definitely the biggest and best, with a huge amount of readers all over the globe! After wanting to expand and feature more Bike trials in the magazine I was asked to be in the April/May issue of the magazine, which in itself made me very chuffed, I was then told it would be a 5 page article + center page poster! - Time to act professional!
Heath Brindley put together some brilliant questions and produced a great article which has received some amazing feedback from readers.
I must say a massive thank you to Heath Brindley (r2wtrial.com) and John Moffet for this great opportunity and for creating such a great piece!

17th June 2013 - European Cup, Czech Republic - 9th
At the weekend It was the 2nd and final round of the European Cup (I was unable to ride at the 1st round) held In Nove Veseli in the Czech republic. The competition was held In a great trials park, 1 of 2 within a 5 minute drive, now you see why the Czech riders are so good!
The sections were pretty much all man made, and really good. They were very tough and very long, you could not really afford to make any mistakes, everything had be spot on every time - It was also extremely hot!
My goal was to make top 5 and looking back the result and scores that was very do able.....if I rode well....which I didn't.
My first lap was awful, I was not positive at all and had no fight in me. I was having 5's in places I shouldn't have and only had 1 good ride the first lap. Once I handed in my score card everything changed I was relaxed and rode well. My lap score improved, It still wasn't perfect, far from it, but I was having 'good' fives ( That doesnt make sense!) I wasn't having fives down to just riding badly and not putting the effort in, I was having 5's after riding well and jut being a bit unlucky - being 2 seconds short of getting out the section on time, having my brake slip on an easy part of the section after I had done the hard work etc
So all in all, not a great weekend, but can't complain. I was riding my bike abroad, In a great place in great weather! -Also Massive congratulations to Adam Morewood, who became the 2013 European cup champion!
Below are some pictures I have edited up quickly - Thank you to Robin Morewood for the original pictures
