World championship time!!
Later today I will be leaving for 2 weeks away at the world championships. The first round this weekend is in the Czech republic and following that, the week after, the 2nd and final round is In Spain.
I'm really looking forward to the world championships this year. My new Inpulse bike is working well for me and following on from my good ride in Italy im feeling very motivated and I think I will be able to ride at my best and get a good result - Hopefully I can update with some good news when i get home!

This weekend I was at the Kent County Show riding with MAD.
We were there Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Land Rover stand promoting the
latest Land Rover and Range Rover models and the Local dealers. Friday was
perfect weather for us, bright sunshine and we rode 5 great shows. That all
changed on Saturday and we had pretty much nonstop rain from 11-4, as soon as
the sun popped out we got a good show done. It was much the same on the Sunday;
however we were able to get 3 shows done. The Kent County show attracts a huge
number of people and we had some very big, great crowds even in the rain, so
big thank you to the Kent public for that! Another big thank you to Land Rover
for their great hospitality!

Last week I made a new video,My first in 2 years!
It's from the European cup held this weekend in Italy. Its pretty basic,unedited competition footage-looks better “raw” (plus i have a new editing program which im still learning!) It also has footage on the "Direct clash" event held on the Saturday evening which was a very cool, loud, exciting event.

I have recently returned from Italy where I competed in the Final round of the European cup series. It was a great event held in 30+ temperatures in the mountains. On the Saturday evening before the main European cup on Sunday, a special competition was held the “Direct clash” – There were 4 sections and 4 riders would ride one each, while the other riders rode the other sections. We had 1 minute to complete each one, then 30 seconds rest then we all moved round the our next section-It was very fast paced and tiring, but very fun too. As you can imagine the Italian commentator was getting very excited and loud! Myself and 3 other Elite riders missed qualification and were put straight into the finals, which was held in the evening/night under floodlights. The place where we rode was on a lower level to crowd so when we looked up all we could see was a huge wall of people around us, very cool! It was a great event and the spectators and riders loved it, I got the the quarter finals and finished 6th. Sunday was the main competition held mostly in the forest, which 2 man made sections in the lower part of town. It was a very long day but a great event. The course was very good and all the riders seemed to get on ok with it. It was my first competition on my new bike and the improvement since my last competition was very noticeable, so change is good! I had a good day, very happy with my riding, obviously i know i could of done a bit better but overall i am really happy as the results were very close. I finished in 8th place, only 8 points behind 5th! I have ended the European cup series in 6th place which i am pleased with.
