At the weekend i rode at a 2 day event held at hook woods in surrey. The first day was part of the British Uci trials championship and world championship team qualifiers. The junior route was pretty easy, but the wet and muddy conditions made the course very tricky, and there were 2 main problem sections. After 3 laps of 6 sections i finished on 23 points. This made me the winner of round 1 and current leader of the British uci championship.

Day two was a round of the National biketrials series. In this competition i was riding in the Elite 26" category. It was once again a wet and muddy day, but the weather brightened up as the day got on. This competition was a lot harder than the day before with some good sections. I felt like i didn't have the best ride, i was riding well, but was inconsistent and made a few small mistakes, and luck was not on my side for a few sections. Every section i rode well on my second lap i messed up on my third lap, and the sections i rode badly on my second lap i rode well on my third lap! It was annoying knowing that if i could have gotten them right both laps, i could of placed a lot higher. My score was very high, and could easily have been halved.
